Dear BCS E&SA
professional certificates candidate, I look forward to
meeting you on this first-rate BCS enterprise and solution architecture
course. The course is broad ranging;
it explains and relates the four primary domains of architecture work It differentiates
enterprise architect, solution architect and software architect roles. The course includes both
mock examinations and real examinations. Exam results are posted
to the email address you provide, a week or two after the course. You will be given a
paper manual including essential terms and concepts, with illustrations. Please bring a mobile
device to access supplementary materials at http://avancier.website. If you cannot do this,
please email us well before the course. It is strongly
recommended you set aside 60 minutes
for the pre-course reading emailed to you. Read “Architect roles” - about 30 minutes. Skim through the Architecture reference model text for no
more than 15 minutes. The reference model is
dry; the training course content is rich. Don’t try to memorise
reference model entries. Just skim through to get an idea of the
training course scope. Course days usually run
from 9.00 am to 5.30 pm; and to 4 pm on the last day. Please aim to
get to the venue about 8.50 on the first day. Please bring a photo id
(e.g. passport, driving licence) with you. Kind regards Graham Berrisford Director and Principal
